Rare Bird Blog

Greetings!

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

As a man of relatively few words, it is with a dash of reluctance today that I make my foray into the world of blogging. It's not that I resist advances or changes in technology and communication mediums (Easily demonstrated by my having entered the interactive world as long ago as the early nineties) It's just that I happen to be one of the rather humble masses that believe they have little to offer in the way of the written word.

That said, It's been said that what I do write often helps people understand the sometimes difficult concepts familiar to yours truly and, admittedly, I do get a great deal of enjoyment out of doing so. Heck, that alone may very well become my driving force and inspiration, as much of what I do is not completely understood by those for whom I do it.

So, does that outline a plan for me as a new blogger? No, not really. It does, however, lend purpose to my predictably verbose future ramblings- and perhaps that is enough.

All right, well.. Here's looking forward to just that. Cheers!
